Amber Roy

A creative, problem solvingsocial media junkie with a burning desire to help small business owners achieve a sustainable work / life balance through the hands-on implementation of dynamic business solutions.

In early 2019, I did something crazy. I sold my business.

I worked tirelessly to build value in the business through systems and solutions that allowed the business to operate seamlessly in my absence. At the time, I was planning on using all of this “free time” to travel the world.. But as it turned out, there were others that saw the value in my business and they wanted an opportunity to pursue a business and industry they were passionate about.

So guess what I’m doing at this very moment? Fiercely pursuing my dream to travel and explore the world. One country at a time!

The sad part is… It wasn’t always like this! There was a time when I too, was stuck in the “hamster wheel”. I was overwhelmed, overworked (I was working 100 hours every week), unhappy and unhealthy. I had gained a significant amount of weight, I was unable to think clearly, I had alienated friends and family, and it felt like there was always something. Another fire to put out with clients, another employee calling in sick, another incident… It was a vicious and never-ending cycle. I felt like I would take 1 step forward and 3 steps back. It felt like I couldn’t trust my team to help, and I was running myself into the ground to keep the business running.

Everything came to a sudden stop after the second car accident. Over the span of two months in the summer of 2018, I was involved in not one, but two, serious car accidents. That was my wake up call.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking that we used when we created them.

Albert Einstein

The quote above pushed me out of my comfort zone and helped me take the next step towards building an even more successful business, with a much more sustainable work / life balance.

I am capable of doing all things, but I am not capable of doing everything. I am one person. A pretty kick-ass person – but ultimately, there are only 24 hours in a day. I knew that I needed to begin working smarter (not harder) if I ever wanted to take a step back from the business to travel the world.

Whether you’re a start-up, or an established business. Brick and mortar, or digital / e-commerce. Product, or service based.

My mission is to help overwhelmed and overworked business owners address the pain points in their businesses by developing and implementing solutions, so that they can achieve happiness through a sustainable work / life balance.

You deserve to have both – professional success and personal happiness.

If you are an overwhelmed small business owner, and you are willing to shift your mindset to try something new and achieve better results – we need to talk!

...And this is my team!
